pictures of me looking at the awesome red lights

So Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to the ward Christmas party. I got to see my friends and play with Megan and Steve. Mommy apparently did some singing, but i couldn't see her at all! Her voice was just really loud and I spend her entire song trying to find out where she had gone. After all of that I started to get tired...being social is hard work! For some reason Mommy and Daddy wanted to stick around so I could see Santa Claus. Not really sure what that was all about, so I did a lot of crying. Then...a miracle...beautiful red shiny lights! I couldn't take my eyes off them!!

Not sure who the fat furry man is who was holding me, but man those red lights were so cool!

SNOW!

So, Mommy and Daddy got the bright idea to take me outside in the freezing cold and take a bunch of pictures of my adorable self surrounded by all this white wet cold stuff they kept calling snow...

Here is Mommy holding me outside our house. I am angry because I have no mittens.
This is what it looked like when it was first snowing, it got much worse later in the day, but by then it was far too chilly to take pictures.
Here I am staring at Daddy and hoping he is almost done taking pictures so we can go back inside where it is warm and I can hold my fuzzy blankie and take a nap.

funny moments

I am a pretty entertaining fellow, here are some pictures of my latest stunts and acheivements...

I can sit up in my Bumpo seat! I love sitting and talking to mommy and daddy or watching TV. Usually I am pretty happy sitting up until I get tired or get stuck while trying to suck on my seat.

The other day while I was doing tummytime I managed to knock my mirror over and then pull it to my face...where I proceeded to suck on the edge, lick the mirror and giggle. Mommy decided to take a picture because she thought it was cute. I just thought it was delicious.

This is how mommy and I spend most of our day. Notice the unfolded laundry on the couch and if you look closely there are probably some dirty dishes too. I am just so fun to play with and talk to that Mommy doesn't want to do her chores, she'd rather just play patty-cake all day long.

and who wouldn't when this is what they get to stare at? Handsome, I know.

Grandma Sally made me a bunny, we've nicknamed him "Pat The Bunny" and I love him. I love to hold him and suck on his little hands. He is a very good snuggler.

Dear Mason,

You are now 3 months old! You have brought mommy and daddy so much joy since your arrival! You have grown and changed so much in these past few months, it is amazing to me.

Your current loves:
Mommy and Daddy (we love how your face lights up now that you recognize us)
Mama's milk...you have a definite preference over any formula
Your Mirrors (you talk to yourself in your mirrors and laugh at yourself. it is so cute)
Your silky blankies that Grandma Sally made you
Your swing (Mommy LOVES how happy this makes you and how it lulls you to sleep)
Your hands (you suck on them all the time, you especially love to suck on your fists)
Your yellow crocheted bunny
Singing. (especially skidamarinky)
"Talking" (you love to talk to anyone who will listen, you even talk on skype and on the phone)
Kisses (it makes you giggle with joy every time)

Your current dislikes:
The vacuum (anytime it is on you SCREAM and cry and shake your fists)
Gas(which you have a lot of)
a pacifier (you always spit it out)
any conversation where you are not involved, you have to be talking to us if we are talking

Accomplishments and Skills:

You "talk" all the time. You coo and sigh and love to have conversations. You also love to sing duets with Mommy at bedtime.
You can grab things like your blankets and bunny. This week you also started putting those in your mouth.
You have figured out how to get your hands in your mouth. Sometimes you stay awake for an extra 30 minutes so you can suck on your hands and hear all the noises you can make with them in your mouth. Yes, I said them, you usually end up with both hands in there at one time or another.
You have man farts and man burps. Seriously. It is a little crazy, but really funny.
You still hate tummy time, but you are getting so strong and love to lift yourself up and look around.
You laugh. Like full on giggles and baby laughs when you are happy. It is the happiest and most joyful noise I have ever heard.
You are a great little sleeper and do so well on your schedule. We love it and when we stick to it you are a happy boy.

So to sum up we love you and love having you in our family. Did I mention that you get cuter every single day? Well, you do. And that dimple is adorable. AND you still look just like your handsome daddy, but I think you have my blue eyes. It is a true joy and blessing to be your mother.

I love you,
Mommy

Here are a few closeups of me from our family portrait session...

It was cold and rainy, but the sun decided to come out for about an hour so we could get some cute shots. Of course I was the star. Here are a few of my close ups.Check Spelling
